Mica Metallic Powder - Purple Heart- 5gr

Mica colors are natural metallic pigments derived from minerals, which are purified and then crushed into a very fine powder.

They come from all over the world and have many different uses.

They can be used in many applications including: coloring liquid glass (epoxy resin), polymer clay, soaps, painting, in ceramics, in home decoration, in inks (calligraphy), in car paints, in silicone, in nail polishes, in eye shadows, in lipsticks, in lip balms, in emulsions, in powders, for body art (temporary tattoos), even and for children (Halloween), etc.

All Mica colors can be mixed together to achieve stunning shades.

Indicative ratios per material (always test, every application and material differs).

Liquid Glass: Depending on the application, about 1gr of Mica per 100ml of mixed liquid glass.

Soap mass Transparent: 1.5-2gr Mica per kg.

Soap mass White: 2.5-5gr Mica per kg.

Olive Oil Soaps: 5-10gr Mica per kg.

Nail polishes: about 2gr Mica in any clear polish.

Eyeshadows: about 2.5gr Mica in 12.5gr bases.

Keep in a dry place, moisture is the biggest enemy of mica powders.

The grain size varies between 10-60 microns.

They are non-toxic and are approved by the European Union (EU & FDA approved) for cosmetic use (cosmetic grade).
